Hi Beth and family! I am a 28 year old woman with 2 1/2 years of
sobriety. I too was completely strung out on IV cocaine. I did time in
jail and became a felon. I finally realized it was time to take action
against my addiction after I was homeless and prostituting on the
streets of Phoenix Arizona for over a year. I ended up getting stabbed
in the chest twice and shot in the hip before I went to Rehab. Dec 26th
2007 was the last I used drugs and/or alcohol. Today I am a college
student and I am working on my degrees to become a Chemical Dependency
Counselor. I am well known in the recovery community because I
volunteer everywhere I can. My name and phone number has become a
resource for women who want to change their lives. I tell you all of
this because it was you who inspired me to become the person I am
today! I am getting married on Cape Cod on 10/10/2010 and going to
Hawaii for my Honeymoon. I continue to pray that somehow I will get a
hold of you and can take you to lunch. I want to use an interview with
you, my inspiration, for a thesis paper I will have to write in the
fall of 2011 in order to be accepted into a Bachelor Degree Program
here at Arizona State University. May God watch over you and your family
