'Dog The Bounty Hunter' Tries To Help A Fugitive With Cancer

People turn to crime for any number of reasons, and Duane "Dog" Chapman and his team of bounty hunters don't often get to hear their perps' backstories. However, on Wednesday night's "Dog The Bounty Hunter" (Wed., 10 p.m. EST on A&E) Chapman was filled-in on one fugitive's own personal tragedy. Chapman and the captured fugitive were sitting in the back of the vehicle, and the bounty hunter was in a reflective mood. He and son Duane Lee had caught their man without incident, and Chapman decided to give the forlorn-looking Jack the benefit of his advice. He reminded the ex-con that he could be in a lot of trouble, and he didn't want him to keep taking drugs and stay on the downward spiral that would probably conclude with him spending the rest of his life in jail. "Psychologically," he said, "I can see ... something has you beat down and you can't let it. The last thirty years of your life, you gotta make." And that's when Jack dropped the bombshell: "I got cancer, though. So it's not good." Dog immediately offered his condolences and Duane Lee looked horrified. Then there was an awkward silence in the vehicle until Chapman asked how long he had to live. Having refused treatment, Jack said he didn't know. "Let the chips fall where they may." Baby Lyssa: Remember what your family stands for: "everyone deserves a second chance". You have a strong family support and you will be ok as long as you always connect with them. They will never steer you wrong. I can relate to you in EVERY way the show has shown and probably MORE that they haven't shown. You and your family are in my prayers for strength and guidance. Hi yeah what is the best channel to watch 'The Dog' and team? i have sky but all i seem to be watching is programs from 2006 is there any channel that has newer series or do i have to wait thanks ,saw a clip on here of the new series looks good says its showing on channel a&e how do i get that? i have got dog set to record on channel sky 2 as that's what its broadcast by

Hi Beth,
I don't know if you read these posts but I am trying to find the black long sleeve shirt you were wearing in one of your last episodes. It had wings on it and down the sleeves with crystals and it was absolutely awesome! Can you tell us where you got this? I saw the other short sleeve black tshirt with the wings on the chest as well and I think I tracked it down to be Rebel Spirit clothing but just not the other shirt. Love your clothes Beth!
