well me and my mother have a bad relashionship. its to the point where i cant even tell her that i'm in a loving relationship with a great guy. i will be 18 soon and i dont know what to do. i wish i could tell her but i dont know how. she hasn't even met my bestfriend yet. and i want her to but he's a guy. we havent had a decent relaionship in a long time. i cant remember when we got along. What should i do

I think it's great you want reconnect with your mom. If I were you, I would meet with her(have a lunch with her,etc) on some mutual ground. I don't know the whole story and I'm not the kind to pretend that I do. Try and reach out to her by letting her know you still love her...that you miss her.. She'll probably meet you half way because after all, she is your mother...you're her flesh and blood. Try and talk through whatever it was that caused the bad relationship in the first place...then when you've reach the point where you're fine..okay with each other then tell her about your guy and best friend.
Whatever you decide to do, I do hope it works out.
