A&E’s ‘Bounty Hunter’ Returns With 2.7 Million Viewers

A&E’s Dog The Bounty Hunter howled again on cable…and viewers heeded the call. The reality series drew 2.7 million viewers in its July 16 return, network officials said.

The audience for the fifth-season debut of the series, which follows the exploits of bounty hunter Chapman (pictured) and his family, finished ahead of the 2.1 million viewers generated for the show’s 2007 season four opener. The show also garnered 1.4 million viewers in both the adult 18-49 and 25-54 viewer demos, A&E said.

    ive heard that season 5 will be in the uk in spetember somr time not sure exactly when

    nnngo dog welcome home we missed you and im not surprized at all about the viewers it would have been more but some people forgot dog is our hero and may he neaver leaves us again and may a&e never let him go hes the best and we love him dogs best friend

    Great return, thats awesome Congrats. Thank you for sharing the news, I was previously wondering how many viewers turned in as I was one of very many who watched. However I had a lot of background noises going on at the time so I need to see that episode again. Hopefully that episode will be shown on DVD season Five and/or shown as a rerun.

    So happy that your back!!!!!! But where's Young Blood ? Please don't tell me he left the team. He's so awesome. Such a great person. He's not even pictured with the rest of the team. I'll be so very dissapointed. I wish him the best!

    Way to go! I knew the Chapman's would come back victorious. All of us (the fans) have continuously stood behing Dog, Beth, Leland, Tim, Duane Lee, Lyssa, and the rest of The Chapman's. It will forever be that way! I love the Chapman's! Congrats! Thanks for bringing the Holy Spirit back into my life, and showing me the best way to live my life! Mahalo!
