Dog the Bounty Hunter to Return on July 16

Dog the Bounty Hunter, A&E's hit Real-Life series, is returning with a brand new season beginning Wednesday, July 16 at 9PM ET/PT.

Season 5 will pick up where the last season left off - with Duane "Dog" Chapman and his posse capturing fugitives week to week in adrenaline fueled hunts in Hawaii and Colorado. Reruns of the series will begin Wednesday, June 25 at 9:00PM ET/PT.

Additionally, viewers who tune in to season 5 will have the opportunity to view never-before-seen episodes from the series fourth season, throughout the course of the new season.

Dog the Bounty Hunter has been one of the highest rated real life series on cable since it launched in 2004. The last season of the hit show averaged nearly 2 million viewers per premiere episode. Dog the Bounty Hunter Season 5 will highlight the series 100th episode of the series.

Dog the Bounty Hunter is produced by Hybrid Films for A&E Network. David Houts and Daniel Elias serve as the executive producers for Hybrid Films. Robert Sharenow and Scott Lonker serve as the A&E executive producers.

    on wednesday june 25th dog the bounty hunter will be back and then on kuly 16th the new season will start!!! i cant wait. its been way to long.

    a@e is so weak,they sent me an email 2 weeks ago sayin reruns were to start on june 16th ,but no dog on the 16th.i knew it was to good to be true,the 26th was the original press release,i must admit ,this whole suspension was asanine to begin with,i wont believe it, untill im actually watching it.

    Only 7 more days … but who’s counting? LOL! : ) A week from today you, our heros will be back on our TV screens, in our livingrooms, still in our lives and in our hearts! I CAN NOT WAIT!!! We have waited sooo long - it seems an eternity! Soon all the waiting will over! Praise The Lord! God bless you, Dog and Posse! YIPPEEE!!!!

    Finally!!! Not only am I excited, but my daughter will be too. She watches her Seasons 1-3 and Wedding Special alot.. so she will be happy to see that ya'll are back on!!

    Thank the Lord my prayers have been answered. My friends and family thought I was crazy for believing and praying but we showed them what the Lord can do if you only believe. U helped me thru a very dark time in my life and what was done to u is shameful but forgiveness is the only way. U are truly a hero to me.

    so am glad to hear that you all are coming back on the air on the 16 so when will be shown in uk. plus how do you start to even become a bounty hunter.so glad you all are such a tight net famliy.cause you really don't see much of that these day .and my family is such a big famliy that i have orderd 2 more of your all fan t-shirts for my 2 youngest childen so can have one and leave mine alone.cause they are such big fans as well

    I hope it's really happening this time. We want the Dog, family and posse back!!! Oh, and screw the Enquirer! I don't believe a word of any of it!
